As always, if you have any questions / issues please don't hesitate to contact me either before or after school.
Mr Hill & Mrs Safdar
What we will be covering this half term
We will be studying the above book and using it as inspiration to produce letters, persuasive texts, newspaper reports, poems and a short story.
In Maths, we will be consolidating our knowledge of place value along with ensuring our times table knowledge is secure and applying this when tackling addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
We will be studying the last years of the Anglo Saxon Kingdom, the reign
of Edward the Confessor and why the Norman Conquest happened.
Mrs Smith will be leading the class in exploring the importance of Harvest.
In Science we are looking at the human body, including the skeleton, the vital organs, muscles and the digestive system. We will also compare our bodies with that of other animals including invertebrates.
Below are links to really useful websites - if you find any others please tell me and I'll add them willingly!
