We hope you had a lovely time over the week off enjoying the beautiful sunshine. We are ready to start the final half term doing lots of exciting things. Please can we ask you make sure uniform and P.E kits are named.
Mrs Leyva and Mrs Maden
In English we will be focusing on the book Zog by Julia Donaldson. We will be focusing our writing skills on story telling by retell the story and to making an adaptation of it.
In maths we are going to be working on our calculations for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will look at how we can use lots of different ways to work out the answer as well as the finding missing numbers from a number sentence.
In History we will be looking at the explorer Ernest Shackleton, we will find out what he is famous for, where he went exploring and what he did on his journey.
Our PE sessions are now on a Monday and a Tuesday. Please come in your PE kit which should be black or navy joggers and jacket and a plain white t-shirt. Earring must also be taken out.
We are going to be creating self portraits using a range of media. We will start by experimenting with colours and using different tools to mark make. After that we will begin to focus on the features of the face and how we can create these. Our final portrait will be made by collaging materials together.
