Lancashire Appeal (September 2026) Information

Appeals for Reception places for September 2026 are administered by Lancashire County Council.

Key dates:

Deadline for lodging appeal: Monday, 18 May 2026
Deadline for submitting additional evidence: as advised by Lancashire County Council
Admission authority evidence submission: as set by the Clerk to the Appeal Panel
Appeal hearing dates: 6–10 July 2026
Parents will receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their hearing
Decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the hearing, where possible
Parents have the right to appeal within 20 school days of receiving notification of an unsuccessful application, subject to the published deadline.
