Welcome To Class 2!
Hello and welcome to Class 2!
My name is Mrs. Kaminski and along with the Class 2 team, we are looking forward to sharing many exciting learning opportunities this year and helping each child to shine and succeed each day and make lots of progress on their adventure in Class 2.
Each day we all work as a team to help each other to live out the Benjamin Hargreaves vision to "let everything we do be done in love" and to try our best to "shine and succeed" in everything we do. We will do this in lots of ways, by making sure we listen well, use kind words, always try our best and present our work the best way we can and having a positive attitude, even when things are tricky!
During this year we will be learning about lots of exciting events and people, such as The Great Fire of London, Toys Through Time and The Seaside. Please check the website on our term pages for more details on the learning taking place in class to best support your child this year.
Key information for Autumn 1:
PE will take place on Monday and Thursday - please ensure PE kits are worn on these days.
Homework will be sent home on Thursdays to be brought in the following Thursday.
Homework:
Year 1 - Maths and reading book linked to phonics learning
Year 2 - Maths, reading book and spellings which will be available on the Spelling Shed website to practice.
We are a team in Class 2 and I am looking forward to working alongside you to support your child and watch them grown and develop as they shine and succeed at Benjamin Hargreaves!
